Initiatives

The Parish Council often carries out initiatives on behalf of the community, funded through the precept and through grants.

Our current initiatives are as follows:

Footpaths

A review of local footpaths in and around the village to investigate reinstatement, maintenance and upgrade to allow inclusive access.

Environment

Our Kyme Eau Working Group that works with associated authorities to maintain and imoprove access to the river.

The Village Tidy Group, supported by the Parish Council, keeps the verges and riverbank cut and looking good for visitors and residents.

Tourism

A Canoe launching platform that is also able to assist kayak and paddleboard users, is to be installed beyond the boat moorings.

Safety

The Parish Council continues to support the Community Speed Watch scheme.
