The third phase of consultation will run from 21 October to 16 December, giving you the opportunity to see how Anglian Waters plans are developing and share your views.
The consultation will include:
- how they plan to fill the reservoir, including a new transfer option from the River Witham and updates to their plans to draw water from the River Trent
- the power supply options for the reservoir including a proposed location for ground-mounted solar and information on connecting the reservoir to the local electricity network
- route corridor options for diverting the existing 132 kV overhead electricity line currently crossing the reservoir site
- their plans for re-routing the Helpringham to Scredington Road, and their proposed primary access for construction and visitors to the reservoir
- their updated plans for supplying treated water to customers, including updates to pipeline routes and connection points near Wilsthorpe and Chesterton
- emerging thinking on construction, including road and rail options for moving materials and how we could manage the workforce we need.
As part of the consultation, we’ll be holding a series of community events where you can meet the project team, ask questions and find out more about our proposals.
We look forward to seeing you there and continuing our engagement with you as the project develops.
