The Village Tidy Group are a group of volunteers from the village that assists with grass and hedgerow cutting, trimming, strimming, litter picking and other general village tidying.
They operate whenever they are needed but meet more formally every month on the last Saturday beginning in Feb/March and continuing until approximately Oct (weather permitting); this work takes about 3 hours, depending on numbers. . The work is endorsed by the Parish Council and the volunteers are authorised to utilise Council owned equipment and are covered by the Councils Volunteer Policy.
They are always in need of help and any time that you have to spare would be gratefully received.
